Capezio Prelude

Capezio Prelude

I always find Capezio pointe shoes interesting. They will always have a special place in my heart because the Capezio Pavlowa was my very first pointe shoe.

The Preludes are interesting because the inside of the box is formed to accommodate toes that taper, while the outside of the box maintains a squarer shape. The shanks are 3/4 which are great for advanced dancers and those with strong arches.

Everything about the Prelude is very attractive to me. The canvas drawstring, the neat pleating of the satin under the toe box, and the beautiful European pink color.
